Its been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time!!

Bailey is now almost 6 months old!! I can't believe how quickly time flies. She laughs and smiles and reaches for us now. She is super close to crawling and is just the love of our lives. Ive been so bad about writing, but with Bailey and work and home and husband, life just gets in the way. I read Kellys Korner everyday and have wanted to get in on the Show Us Your Life blogs, so thats what Im gonna do!! I started working in July and it was so hard to leave my baby. I work at base CE as an architect and love this job. Its the first job since college that actually enjoy getting up to do. Gotta go post pics to Facebook, the grandparents are getting antsy. I promise to be back tomorrow!!!

Growing belly!

Again, sorry its been so long since the last post. I'm not sure if anyone reads this or not, and just forget to write. To catch up, we have moved into our new house and LOVE it. We are so much happier here. It feels like a real house and we have so much more storage space.

I am now at 34 and a half weeks. We had a doctors appointment today and everything seems right now track, except the doctor said Bailey is not a small baby. We have started our childbirth classes and are learning lots. It finally seems real to us that in a month or so we will be bringing home our baby girl!

I've had two of the three baby showers, and boy is Bailey spoiled!! Everyone has been so generous. She has a fully stocked wardrobe. I can't wait to dress up my sweet baby girl.

Its Been Awhile

So, its been quite some time since I posted. We have lots of news. Baby A is a girl and we are naming her Bailey. We are also moving!! Not out of Wichita Falls (we really want to move!) but into a house on base. It will be nice to bring Baby Bailey home to a house rather than an apartment. I've started working on her nursery and can't wait to get it all situated into her new room at our new house. Here's an idea of her nursery:

My VERY talented sister is doing a painting for her nursery and I can't wait see the finished project. I just know its gonna be wonderful. We are going to paint the walls light and hot pink.

The house is nice. Its a three bedroom and although its base housing, we are actually in a gated community off base. Yay, for not having to show an ID everytime we come home. It's also been renovated with carpet in the bedroom areas of the house. I am both dreading and looking forward to the move. I absolutely hate packing. I should be really good at it; I've moved at least once a year for the past 7 years!!! But luckily, being pregnant gives me the best excuse to not actually move and lift things!
